This was a very informative webinar !! If any one has never used a thermal imaging camera before I would truly recommend this review or course. It not only covered the operation and options it also brought information on how to define problems early before you have a fault in Electrical to finding leaks in roofs. It was a well rounded lesson.
I would like to see other courses on using the other products that can be incorporated with the thermal imaging camera like smart phones and metering or recording equipment. Thanks Again Ed !! It was a well done course.

Oscilloscope course

This was a beginner to intermediate oscilloscope course. I knew the basics for using oscilloscopes, but wanted to learn more and this course was perfect. This class lasted about 5 hours and is mostly hands-on. The instructor spent an hour or so on the basics, then we got into more advances features. He pretty much went through all the features of the Rigol DS4000 series scope - that's what we were using in the class. I actually brought my own scope which I would recommend if you have your own. We had a demo board which let us look at and debug real signals on the scope. The demo board has signals with intentional problems like noise, spikes and other stuff. We also went over the logic analyzer features of the scope. The instructor encouraged us to ask questions and would walk through specific techniques people were interested in learning about. Plus we were well fed.

Oscilloscope Training Course. Rigol Technologies.

Rigol speaker, Todd Buttrick, Eastern Sales Manager (25 years experience in the Test & Measurement Industry) explained to us via the Rigol DS6000-DK Oscilloscope Demo Trainer Board, whose application he wrote, nearly the 25 kind of signals such as common (square waveform, ...), special (square signal superimposed with glitch, ...), and Digital (I2C signal, ...) signals.
The recording of sampling & memory depth demonstration with decode enabling a view and exporting a table of the decoded data whose features like auto and 140MPts memory were a great starting point for someone to love the one of the newest high performance mixed signal oscilloscope (MS04012, 4 analog and 16 digital channels). We were working on a pass/fail measurement where Todd showed us the failure states recorded in an extended timeframe, this option let the customer analyze the failures after the real life measurement was done. This was one of the many technically outstanding demonstrations.
Overall thanks to Todd, Jorge Rivera (for his help with an oscilloscope and arbitrary function generator purchase) and TEquipment.NET staff for seminaries so expertly done. Keep doing a great job and congratulations on being second to none.
