Manufacturer warranty is included
The T3 Hovercam is a new document camera that is taking the industry by storm! This is a very cost effective camera that is designed with ease of use and simplicity in mind. Additionally, the great thing about the Hovercam is that a low price does not mean you have to deal with bad picture quality. Image quality is outstanding for a camera at this price point. We sell all major brands and we feel this unit is going to revolutionize the document camera industry. For the price, nothing that we know of can compete with the Hovercam.
Teachers, business professionals and hobbyists all love the light weight and portability of the Hovercam. The new T3 is replacing the successful X300. The body is physically the same but it is now telescopic so it shrinks down for transporting. The new T3 model features an advanced LED lighting system over the x300 for much better low light performance. The beauty of the LED lights is that you don't have to change the bulbs. This means no maintenance and no bulb replacement. There are not additional costs to owning the Hovercam.
The hovercam is one of the simplest cameras to use on the market, and that is one reason why they are so popular with teachers. The Hovercam T3 is a USB powered camera. This is the only cable it uses and it does not even use a powercord. Since it uses USB you must have a computer to use it. For most people this is not a problem but your those that don't have a computer, there is another hovercam that can connect directly to a projector without a computer. Please see that model here called the Neo3:

Another great feature that has been added is more stability. The T3 has a weighted base now which helps keep it stable, even if you bump into a desk. The unit now has a nice rubber pad on the bottom as well to further increase stability. Overall the new T3 has taken the successful X300 body and improved upon its performance. And last but not least, the new T3 comes with a nice carry bag.
As many of you have heard, the Hovercam has made some big waves in the document camera industry. To be honest, it is unprecedented in what they have done. They have brought a camera around 200 dollars to the market place that competes with units on the market costing well over $500. Companies are now scrambling to make units that look like the Hovercam. Here at Touchboards we don't want to see you get duped. Don't be fooled by imposters!
Although companies can copy the outer shell, there are electronics sensors (which are different) and digital imaging processes (including patent pending processes) that they use to make the HoverCam image very clear. We obviously can't mention these patent applications publicly, but we just wanted to make sure we inform our customers that we are selling quality cameras at a fair cost. The "shell" is a simple mold made in China. This mold factory will sell that mold to other companies so you might see units that appear similar (in fact almost identical in some cases.) It is the quality components inside the Hovercam that counts, as well as the powerful Flex software.
The HoverCam software development team is here in the U.S. and they are continually updating and upgrading the software based on customer requests and inputs. As authorized Hovercam dealers Touchboards can offer this software for free and you can download the "latest and greatest" when the updated versions are released. Their software engineers are based here and we work closely with them as we pass along feedback from teachers and presenters. Also, the tech support is based here in the US and they are top notch. Warranty support is great too.
So in summation, yes you may be able to get a slightly cheaper "knock off" version but we can assure you the real Hovercam is worth the cost. It will offer a better picture, great software that that is easy to use, and the best service based here in the US.
