So far I like it. Mostly using it for small resistors and components like size 1208 using the 2mm tip T9-L2 but it will go much smaller using the included tips. I purchased at first cheaper foreign-made SMD tweezers and had a terrible experience. These are wonderful. It would be great though if they could document them better and also include some tip cleaning, not just a sponge.

Great SMD Soldering Tweezers

I have debated for a long time on getting this soldering tweezer set. The price is high. I have been doing more and more SMD repair so I bit the bullet and ordered the kit. I am glad a did and of course wish I had done it sooner. It makes soldering and desoldering very fast. I like the ability to switch the spring from pressing to close or pressing to open. Changing the tips is easy and quick. The tips in the kit are a perfect size. I have been using them to desolder the smaller 1mm SMD components. I use the FM2023 with my FM-206 soldering station. It only works in the second port. I don't know why, but I get an error in Ports 1 or 3. That's fine for me. But I wanted to point that out as there is minimal documentation about FM-206 compatibility.

takes some getting used to when using hot tweezers for the first time. If you use these to get in tight spaces, i highly suggest you get the thinnest tips you can find because the ones that come with these make tight spaces very difficult to manuever and you'll end up touching other components with it.

Great prices for Hakko Mini Parallel Remover

Hakko makes a nice Tweezer attachment for the FM-206 triple station I use. I was able to easily work with 0201 components. Fits well in the base also. No hand fatigue observed using them for an hour straight. Glad I bought the FM2023-05. Great price from TEquipment.net . $30 less than everyone else plus free shipping. Delivery time was decent also.
