Soldering Station with FX-9701 Iron and Stand
The HAKKO FX-971 Soldering Station is the next-generation high-performance soldering station that derives itself from the best parts of the HAKKO FX-951 which is arguably the most reliable and cost-effective soldering station in the electronics industry for the last 15 years. The HAKKO FX-971 uses newly designed T39 Series tips with higher power output and optimized geometries to achieve peak performance of the HAKKO Composite Ceramic heater at its heart while maintaining HAKKO’s renowned tip life and low operating costs. The newly designed single-piece handpiece uses a built-in sensor to detect when the iron is in use or should be put to sleep, eliminating the need for connecting cords or in-line irons and holders, and incorporates a thinner cord to reduce the weight felt by the user.
The station itself uses a minimal footprint design that allows multiple units to be stacked to conserve workbench space and includes a new easy-to-read display that is more than 4 times larger than the FX-951 and displays set temperature and sensor temperature simultaneously.
The operation and setup are similar to the FX-951 but the interface is redesigned to be intuitive and includes new features such as IR auto offset when using the FG-100B Tip Thermometer or FG-101B Station Tester, a preset mode that allows easy selection of up to 5 user programmable presets 3-letter passcode lock for process control, and user selectable sleep temperature.
