This is an incredible hand piece. For years, I have struggled with trying to get an iron into places to solder, trying to avoid adjacent components or soldering points. This piece is like holding a pencil in your hand. It is very ergonomic and will not slip out of your hand. Combined with a 0.2mm conical tip, it is surgically precise. I don't know of anything else comparable, from other manufacturers. I wish Hakko would design one for the new FX-100!

I love this little iron. It's small, lightweight, and combined with the J tip, works great for microsoldering.
My only complaint is I wish Hakko had included some type of "kit" to make it fit reliably in the standard FM-2027 stand (FH200-01). It "works", but it's a bit fidgety. And having a second stand with, in my case, the FX-951 is just silly. But if you have an FM-203 or 206, by all means, get the full FM2032-52 kit!

The FM-2032 solder handle and tips work great when soldering 0402, 0201 and 0.5mm pitch ICs. Heats up very quickly. Less expensive to purchase handle and stand separately than as a bundle.
