The Greenlee CLM-1000 Cable Length Meter for AWG-kcmil Wire and Cable is an accurate and convenient way to measure wire length and resistance without having to remove it from a spool. Greenlee CLM-1000 is designed with 20 pre-programmed wire sizes, 8 user programmable sizes, and is designed to measure insulated copper and aluminum conductors.

Greenlee CLM-1000 and CLM-1000E Cable Length Meters are hand-held testing devices with the follow- ing measurement capabilities: resistance, temperature, and length. They can be used as meters to measure precise bonding resistances. The primary function of these meters is to calculate the length of cable based upon its material, temperature, and cable gauge. Cable material type can be either uncoated copper or aluminum. There are 20 pre-programmed and eight programmable cable gauges. (There are no strands per cable speciﬁcation for the eight programmable switch positions.)

The pre-programmed switch positions for the CLM-1000 are:

AWG (7 strands) – 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18
Aught (19 strands) – 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0
kcmil (37 strands) – 250, 350, 400, 500

Another Great Product

Works just as stated and beyond, the margin for error is almost non-existent as over a 3000' of specialty wire got it down to within 6" when calibrated as noted. Out of the box it was just as accurate with the pre-set wire selections. Felt comfortable with the Green Lee name but felt even more comfortable knowing tequipment would stand behind it if it wasn't what I needed. Yes I would buy another and will continue to purchase from tequipment

Needed this product spcifically for a project in Doral. At first I thought it was a little pricey but could not find another product that could offer the same functions. After receiving and using the product I was very impressed with its ease of use, durability and accuracy. I can whole heartedly recommend this to anyone that needs these functions.
