The DCS400 was ordered to access difficult to reach areas to locate leaks in overhead plumbing and to ascertain the extent of any mold infestation associated with water leaks between interior walls. It appears to be very versatile and easy to use for these purposes. My only negative comment would be regarding the sharpness of the camera lens for close detail. Otherwise, it seems to be an excellent value for the relatively low cost.

I just received the DCS 400 w/3 m. extension and I will say that I am very favorably impressed so far. It was purchased as an aide for determining mold infestation between walls and to help identify the location of certain plumbing leaks in hard to reach areas in an older senior citizen high-rise. It appears to do everything desired. My only reservation would be the sharpness of the image, especially when trying to locate leaks in overhead copper plumbing between floors. Otherwise, for the price, it seems to be an excellent value.
