App won’t work with latest IOS versions

App developer hasn’t updated the IOS app for iPhone and iPad for years. Will no longer work if you have IOS 11 or newer making the scope a useless museum piece. Don’t waste your money!!

Hey All, there are a few things covered in modern android which aren't addressed by the manual.

(to be fair, I've picked up my unit as used.)

when connecting to the wireless access point, some android phones will automatically disconnect from any access point without internet access. Obviously this is a problem for people using non-flagship phones, or certain carrier frimware.

I'm going to try mine on an iDevice(tm) and see if I have better luck.

Good borescope

I was looking for a borescope that I could use infrequently to assess the health of my airplane's engine and a friend pointed me to this product. The price was well below other options so I gave it a try.

I was very pleased with how rapidly it arrived and it was shipped in a nice carrying case that will protect it when not in use. It connects to an iPad for the display so you have to download an App and then connect. The instructions were very detailed and accurate so this process took about 5 minutes and most of that time was the download time due to my limited home network.

Once connected,everything is obvious. The buttons for lighting and the still shots all work as expected and it looks to be an excellent product. I have not yet tried it inside the engine but hope to do that soon. The attachments (mirror, hook, magnet) look like they'll remain attached so I won't worry about losing them.

Looks like a great product and just what I was looking for.
