High quality and not-so-high quality

I purchased this kit because I wanted a variety including the precision test probes and smd micro clips. Unfortunately, the quality of the precision probes TL910 is very suspect. First, they were visibly not straight, and after reading reviews on other sites, I found I was not the only person to have this problem. The quality of the injection molding is poor, with flashing not trimmed, and the thin cables seemed weak, like what you would get on a set of earbuds. The rest of the kit seemed to be Fluke quality, but these particular leads were not.

The TLK-287 is a pretty comprehensive set of accessory probes for my Fluke 179 DMM. Quality and selection are good and the assorted probes are a necessity for any comprehensive electronic diagnosis. The probes come in a carrying case which rolls up, is compact and convenient for mobile usage, as well as making it easy not to forget where you left them. It's a plug'n'play system as the leads have connectors at the probe end, so simply remove one probe and replace it with another...and you're good to go. Beyond that, I found the price and service from TEquipment to be excellent! And no, I don't work there.
