Fluke 179

Fluke is the standard for multimeters and has been for a long time. There are a lot of good alternatives but for reliability and support Fluke wins. The 179 is a full featured device with great performance for field or benchtop use.The only complaint I have is with the delivery. Seems the unit was out of stock yet no communication was sent to let me know. I CONTACTED TE Equipment after waiting a full week and did get a prompt response email with the projected ship date. Folks usually buy test equipment because they need it not just to have and ordinarily 3 weeks would have been a deal breaker but I managed to get by. I did also get a nice follow up email right after the first apologizing for the delay. That went a long way towards my decision to not cancel the order and buy elsewhere.
