These do everything as advertised. The seals (almost always) stay in the ends, though I did have one jump out one time, from a valve end, but it went back in easily. The valves seal quickly and don't leak, which is environmentally sound, and easier on the fingers. I doubt there are any better hoses than these out there. While the price seemed high, I couldn't find similar hoses any cheaper.

Biggest lot of rubbish. Sent it back after 1 year. Because screen goes blank. Had a few drops of rain, but how many a/c are indoors. Leave it on the dash in the sun, and then ok again. Even when purge hoses goes blank. Steve from fieldpiece said this the worse one he saw. Not repairable and con my manager to buy a recondition one. So we spend over $1100 on a set of Swan 460 that needs to stay in its cover and not leave the van. You know what I think of this product. Ps. hook broke off before it left the van. But you know how it is. One talk to others

I own many fieldpiece products and have nothing but problems with them all. I have had to send my sman460 gauges back to fieldpiece 4 times for a replacement because something different happened to them each time. I wouldn't waste the time and money on this product. The customer service is horrible they think they can just run all over the consumer after I have spent almost $2000 dollars on there products. I own sman460, vp85, 2 meters, recovery machine, wireless scales, and the JL2 transmitter and they still treat me like crap about warranty issues. SO to sum it up I haven't and never will purchase another fieldpiece product ever.

Nothing like having the math done for you, and having a customer drool over your tools, like you were a service God or something. This not only looks impressive and professional as heck, it prevents errors by doing the math for you. (Yeah, I know, the math ain't rocket science) The point is, there's no scribbling on a note pad, and no chance of an error. It not only does the superheat and sub-cooling, but with the app on your phone it also calculates REQUIRED superheat, by a factory chart, or by the standard chart. It even works with the psychometric probes to provide all this data in real time, even as conditions are changing. Anything that increases our accuracy is a great thing. This does exactly that and then it will even document it, and apparently, write the invoice for you, and tract the customers in a data base. With the app on a phone or pad, it does everything but drive you to the job site.
