Flir has designed the TG167 to easily identify hot or cold spots in electrical cabinets or switch boxes from a safe distance. The 25° allows users to clearly see even the smallest details from a distance. This makes it perfect for any indoor electrical inspection application.
The TG167 lets users quickly identify heat patterns, reliably measure temperatures with the onboard spot meter, and store images and data. Ready to use right out of the box, the TG167 will quickly become your go-to troubleshooting tool. Easily find hot and cold spots that are invisible to the naked eye to help you investigate and solve problems without delay. FLIR’s exclusive wafer-formed Lepton thermal sensor takes you beyond the limitations of single-spot thermometers to help you see the heat and know right where to measure it.

Flir has designed the TG167 with a more narrow field of view over the TG165. This gives users the ability to view a quality image down to even small connectors or wires from a safe distance. The TG165 is better designed to give a thermal read of an entire scene in one image. This makes the TG167 the best choice for applications that require the location of problem areas in electrical applications.

FLIR is known throughout the industry for its extensive 10-5-2 warranty on thermal cameras. This impressive warranty gives you an extended 10-year warranty on the IR detector, 5 years on field-replaceable batteries, and 2 years on parts and labor. No other industry manufacturer can offer a warranty this strong. That's just one reason why FLIR is among the leading thermal camera companies in today's market.

I have this question too (0)
It should show you the flooring. It would depend how deep the heating element is in the concrete and how warm it is compared to the floor.

The TG167 has a narrower field of view so you will get a further distance. You will also get a better image as there will be more pixels on the target at greater distances.
The internal 8GB memory card can store 75,000 images. You can expand to up to 32GB, which would give you a 300,000 image capacity.
Unfortunately, no thermal device will enable you to see through walls. We call that x-ray vision and I know of only one person that might have that ability and he''s only in the movies. Thermal devices will let you see only surface temperature. Body or animal temperature in darkness. Thermal can be used to see hot areas (or cold areas) in your house that could be costing you in loss of energy but in general they are called "non intrusive devices".
You can create your own reports with this device, but the infrared image is non radiometric so it does not have temperature measurement.
