If you already have a compatible FLIR camera, the Screen-EST package is an excellent option for human temperature testing. Screen-EST enables automated testing by adding several layers of functionality and sophistication to the camera’s screening mode.

Screen-EST is compatible with several models in the Exx, T5xx, T8xx and A product series. Any of the models below can be used:

Consistent, accurate and fast screening

Screen-EST uses facial detection to automatically activate when someone enters the field of view. It will then guide the testing subject into position so that it can take a measurement. For example, if they are too far away, they are told to come closer. If they are too far to one side, they are guided in the other direction.

Screen-EST then automatically takes a measurement from the person’s face and provides a pass/fail signal. If the temperature exceeds a pre-defined threshold, the system can notify staff.

This system creates an automated solution with many applications. Screen-EST enables fast and accurate screening, and makes it possible for personnel to maintain a safe distance.
