I have this question too (10)
Yes, the FLIR E53 has many features perfect for home inspectors. The 240 x 180 (43,200) pixel resolution gives great images. With a 40mK sensitivity, the images will show even slight temperature variations. It also has alarms (isotherms) to show insulation and condensation/humidity issues.

I have this question too (6)
The FLIR E53 has a manual focus, so you can get as close as 4 inches and still be in focus.
I have this question too (5)
Yes, using the FLIR Tools App, you can view images and videos over WiFi or directly over USB.
The lens on the E53 is a fixed 24 degree. This is good for about 80% of the applications you would use it for. If you need a wide-angle or telephoto option, consider the FLIR E75, E85 or E95 instead.
