Another accessory which will boost the longevity of the device is the purpose-built vinyl case that will protect the temperature meter from wear and tear.

The Extech 445582 kit allows you to achieve response times of two minutes when gathering temperature readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit, all within one degree of accuracy. For great results, it’s recommended that this equipment is operated in temperatures of -10 to 50 degrees C.
