The TM500 is a 12-Channel Datalogging Thermometer. This Datalogging Thermometer features 6 Thermocouple Types (J, K, E, T, R, S). Displays CH1 to CH8 or CH9 to CH12 on screen, data can be recorded from all 12 channels simultaneously onto an SD card in Excel format for further analysis.

Extech TM500

Pretty solid device with straightforward operation. The logging goes nice and deep on the SD card, so a finer granularity of testing is made pretty easy. The probes tested to be /- 1.5 DegF within each other when bundled together and left in an insulated box for 24 hours, so the precision is adequate for most general thermal testing. The marketing literature failed to mention that there is an RS232 port, so it was a pleasant surprise for me that it is present.
