Finally, we arrived at the correct device! We have been trying to find an alternative to using a paper or disc type with pen "chart recorder" to be able to see the minute differences of gas pressure - specifically, downstream of the "pounds to inches" regulators that are so prevalent in the residential 2psi gas distribution systems.

This device, when paired with the PT30, allows for a 1 inch w.c. (water column) resolution - and when set-up with the 1 second sampling rate - you can detect that the appliance either receiving the correct amount of fuel pressure for proper operation.

Or, you can discern if the downstream pressure of the regulator is not "over pressuring" the appliance and thus causing failure of the appliance gas valve.

The pressure transducer has a 1/4 inch NPT male thread that can be coupled to the gas piping using teflon tape.

When used in this type of a scenario - the 9VDC power supply is needed. It comes with a 2gb SD card - which is capable of 20,000,000 records - or one second intervals - which is as much as 231 days of 1 second timing. WOW!
