In certified businesses and from a quality standpoint, regular checks of the soldering tip temperature are obligatory. Ersa soldering stations are extremely temperature-stable over their entire service life.

Possible differences between the set and actual value due to differences in tips or to slight heating element tolerances in the RESISTRONIC control system can be easily ascertained with the DTM 100 temperature measuring device and corrected easily and fast on nearly all Ersa soldering stations.

The measurement is conducted by cleaning the heated soldering tip and wetting it with new solder. The soldering tip is then put on the sensor wires. As soon as the display has stabilized the temperature is determined.

Ersa offers several packages with the DTM 100 thermometer. It is available with or without a calibration certificate, as well as multiple accessories.
