The Ericson Perma-Kleen Carts are a mobile solution that safely disinfects surfaces from germs (viruses and bacteria) with UV-C lighting that is repeatable and reliable in healthcare facilities, linen transport vehicles, ambulances, soiled sortation, surgical centers, nursing homes, and medical.
The Ericson UV-C Perma-Kleen Cart (PK-CART) system was developed as a cleaning device utilizing Ultraviolet Light (UV) for direct exposure disinfection. The system can disinfect 360 degrees from the system center. The system design allows for microbial disinfection control.
Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) is a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet (ultraviolet C or UVC) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying and disrupting their DNA leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions. UV light requires the use of germicidal wavelengths of 185-254 nanometers (nm).
