Work Support, 7,3 kN Force, 9,7 mm Stroke, Manifold
The Enerpac WSM72 is a work support with a manifold mount that offers a maximum support force of 7,3 kN and a stroke of 9,7 mm. It has a low pressure lock-up capability that enables the use of machine tool hydraulic systems, and high-rated support capacities allow for more compact fixture design. This tool is made of corrosion resistant materials that are compatible with most coolants and environments.
Threaded and manifold air vent ports allow fixturing that prevents coolants from being drawn into the system. This work support provides minimized deflection, which increases machining accuracy and can be operated as an air advance by removing the spring and applying air pressure to the vent port.
The WSM72 has a compact design, perfect when space is at a premium. It also comes with an internal plunger thread for optional contact. This tool does not require external plumbing. Support force and clamping force must be matched. The support force should be at least 150% of the clamping force. Do not exceed maximum flow rates to avoid premature lockup. Always center load over work support.
