1000ml Capacity and 115v 50 60Hz, 380w CMU Controlled Electromantle
CMU metal-cased Electromantles are used in chemistry to heat liquids in round bottom flasks. They are ideal for busy laboratories with multiple users as they are very safe to use, the metal case is designed to remain cool when in operation. Additionally, they have a stainless steel grounded earth screen covering the element and are double-fused for added safety. In the event of any liquid spillage, the heating mantles are automatically cut out to protect the user from electric shocks.
Electrothermal Heating Mantles are manufactured to the highest quality in our UK manufacturing facility. Each mantle is made with extreme care and is hand sewn to assure its reliability, quality, and safety. Maximum heat transfer to the sample is achieved by having excellent insulation around the cartridge and good flask coverage. All Electrothermal mantles go through the 'burn off' procedure at the end of the manufacturing process enabling use straight out of the box.
Focus on Heating Mantles
Electrothermal has over 70 year’s heritage in the design and manufacture of Heating Mantles and is known throughout the world for producing high quality, robust and safe equipment. The range of Electromantles is diverse, offering a heating solution for most applications, including Electromantles for heating and stirring, multi-position, V-shaped and spill-proof.
Electromantle Guide
The Electrothermal series of heating mantles have been specifically designed to provide a comprehensive answer to heating fluids in round bottom flasks in the modern laboratory. The original “Electromantles” revolutionized round bottom flask heating by incorporating a coiled flexible heating element, which ingeniously wraps the heater around the flask to optimize heat transfer. For maximum safety, the flask is held away from direct contact with the heating element via a grounded earth screen. This design principle has stood the test of time and has been imitated the world over. With many years of experience, Electrothermal remains at the forefront of laboratory heating and its associated controlling technology.
