EDSYN DS317 - Static-Safe Auto-Vac Desoldering Tool
The Edsyn DS317 Static-Safe AUTO-VAC Desoldering Tool with PH246 Power Head and PH184 Holder/Cleaner requires an external vacuum source. This can be either an in-house vacuum system or an air-driven venturi-type vacuum source. The DS317 is a heavy-duty unit with a large clear plastic chamber to reduce clogging, hold more debris and visually determine when maintenance and cleaning are required. A power piston in the holder cleans the tip whenever the Auto-Vac trigger is depressed. The DS317 is specially designed with static-safe conductive plating for static sensitive components.
