Stopped Working

This lamp worked for about 4 months with only 20 to 30 hours on it when it sparked and stopped working. Eclipse gave me an RMA number but shipping would have cost almost $20. I bought a new bulb for about $10 instead but when I replace it, it still did not work. I took it apart and found a very badly cracked solder joint around one of the AC wires. When I pulled on it the wire came completely out. I resoldered it and now it works fine, but I did not appreciate the poor quality and Eclipse should have offered to pay for the shipping both ways to repair and also should have paid for the bulb. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a higher quality lamp.

Large size magnifier lamp

Real nice addition for my electronics work bench. It is much bigger than I expected. The mounting arm is plenty long so that it can be mounted a full 36" away and then swung into position when needed for small work. Plenty of light and the magnification is just about right. The arm hinge adjustment nuts are not quite as robust as I would like, and I will probably make new ones when they wear out. All in all, a great value. Glad I bought it.

Magnifier lamp

This lamp was purchased for a replacement. It works great and I just love the lighted magnifying glass. I can see everything. I would defiantly purchase this again. Thanks.

Excellent value for the money

Purchased this lamp to assist in reading small print for studying languages. Works very well, enough so that I'm purchasing a second one for sewing and crafts so I don't always have to move it from room to room. Lamp is sturdy and well built.
