The ELMO MO-1w Visual Presenter brings all the great benefits of the original MO-1 with the addition of WHDI wireless connectivity. The MO-1w eliminates the cabling between the document camera and projector by implementing for the first time in the industry, a new WHDI wireless system (it is not Wi-Fi). This new technology enables you to send FULL HD (up to 1080p) at 30FPS wirelessly to the projector or flat panel monitor. No connection will be required between the projector and MO-1w, without interference with the existing Wi-Fi network in the school environment. You can even send PC data WIRELESSLY through the MO-1w's switching capability.

The signal range is approx 33 feet so it should cover most of the classroom.

 

High-precision visual presentation tool

The MO-1w was designed to visually enhance any presentation situation, including teaching, lecturing, vocational training and or business meetings. With its innovative technology, the MO-1w is the key to engaging any audience and increasing their depth of understanding. The MO-1w does this by clearly and precisely projecting small items, documents and even live manual manipulation of objects through its 8X digital zoom and high definition image projection. The MO-1w can also be used as a scanner to instantly transform documents, architectural models and product parts into digital data.

No cable required between the MO-1W and a projector or a TV monitor

No cable connection will be required between the MO-1w and a projector or monitor by implementing for the first time in the industry, a new wireless system WHDI (Wireless Home Digital Interface), which is different from Wi-Fi. Not only captured images but also computer data can be transmitted wirelessly through the MO-1w’s switching capability. All you have to do is connect the Receiver Module (VPR-2 which is included in the package) to the HDMI input on a projector or monitor.

No interference with the existing wireless network

Wireless networks are everywhere. Many schools, universities and office buildings are becoming flooded with Wi-Fi capable devices. However, the MO-1w's wireless technology is not Wi-Fi but based instead on the latest WHDI technology. The WHDI interface can transmit a full, uncompressed 1080p signal, 30fps, at a rate of up to 3Gb/sec. That’s more than 20 times faster than 802.11n wireless. Since the MO-1w transmits video on a frequency at more than twice the rate of traditional wireless networks, there is no interference. The signal range is approx 33 feet so it covers most classrooms, meeting rooms and courtrooms.

Easy operation

The MO-1w is surprisingly easy to use; just place your teaching materials, documents or any presentation item under the camera, connect the MO-1w to a projector or TV monitor, and you're ready! The simple design of the control panel ensures easy operation, even for someone unfamiliar with this type of equipment.

The user-friendly device features an HDMI input/output, 8X digital zoom capability, 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor, 30fps (full-motion) when used in 720p.

Flexible camera arm and camera head

The Visual Presenter is easy to set up and use. When connecting to a computer, the MO-1 can be used as a three dimensional scanner. (Close up to 2.7 inch distance from the objects.)

For network communication

Built-in Microphone allows you to use the MO-1w as a web cam for important online meetings.




 

SD Card slot, HDMI input, and powered via USB

Still images can be stored on the SD card. The HDMI input allows you to make high definition image presentation possible. Furthermore, no AC adapter is required when the MO-1w is connected to a computer by the USB cable.
