The Sauermann AQ110S Air Quality Meter measures the level of carbon dioxide (CO2) present in ambient air. This portable CO2 meter includes a temperature remote probe, 6.5" (2m) cable, and features functions such as Hold, Min, Max, backlight, change of unit, and configurable automatic switch-off. The AQ110S is supplied with a soft case and adjustment certificate.
All the gases absorb the light at a specific wavelength, a part of the light emitted by the infrared source is absorbed by the gas sample. The quantity of light read by the infrared sensor is inversely proportional to the CO2 concentration.
Negative temperature coefficient probes are thermistors with a resistance that decreases with temperature according to the equation below:
