Good equipment, app needs work
4.0
This review is for a Dwyer AQTIA-RP2, a second RP2 probe and two WDPM-002 pressure modules.
Pros;
All the Dwyer wireless probes attach very easily to the gateway (you just need to turn them on)
Good quality equipment, good battery life.
The included UHH-C1 soft case (included with the AQTIA kits) is nice and strong.
Cons;
The app could be better. One needs to be able to NOT save a log. (if you accidentally start logging)
The logs are exported as .csv files, this is fine but one should be able to dictate what data is exported, having a spreadsheet with data for raw units AND display units is messy. Should have option.
Need to be able to auto log all attached probes at the same time.
Need to be able to export proper charts with a time stamp, from all probes to a .pdf file. Clients do not like spreadsheets, because the data can be manipulated.
The graph display is poor, swipe to display another graph (even data from the same probe) and the time axis on the graph changes.
The app font size in the settings menus is very small (when changing units etc) will be harder in the field when hands are sweaty, bright sunlight etc.
I can see the rubber charging port boot on the UHH2 breaking at some point, it is very hard to open to charge the UHH2 phone. This means it will be nice and water/ dust proof, but how long will it last?
Overall, very good equipment, easy to use, would get 5 stars if the app was better.
