Simultaneous USB DAQ Device
The Digilent MCC DT9816-S provides separate A/D converters per channel and eliminates the phase shift between signals, allowing you to correlate simultaneous measurements of multiple inputs. The per-channel sample rate, in this case, is the maximum rate of the sample clock (750 kS/s for the DT9816-S). The aggregate total throughput is the number of channels times the per channel throughput.
The DT9816-S provides ultimate flexibility with six analog inputs, eight digital I/O, and one 16-bit counter. The module runs off of a USB power supply, no external power supply is needed. The module is housed in a shielded, rugged enclosure for noise immunity.
Key Features of the MCC DT9816-S
- Six, independent, successive-approximation A/D converters with track-and-hold circuitry. Each converter uses a common clock and trigger for simultaneous sampling of all six analog input signals at up to 750 kHz per channel
- The Analog input subsystem provides 16-bit resolution and gains of 1 and 2 for effective full-scale input signal ranges of +/- 10V and +/- 5V
- 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs
- One 16-bit counter/timer allows you to perform event counting, frequency measurement, and continuous pulse output (rate generation) operations
- Standard USB connector
- Shielded, rugged enclosure for noise immunity
- Low power device - draws less than 100 mA
