Desco Stretch Fit Heel Grounder with Snap Loc and 1M Resistor

Available sizes – regular and large
Converts non-ESD footwear to footwear that will provide a path-to-ground and will not generate a charge
1” wide elastic back strap
Snap-Loc fastening system
Non-marring interior material

The Desco stretch fit heel grounders provide contact with ESD flooring for a path-to-ground to remove electrostatic charges. The red elastic back strap stretches to accommodate larger footwear such as cross trainers or boots. The cup is made from a black conductive layer and a white lining that prevents carbon marks on shoes.

These heel grounders include a one megohm current limiting resistor It is a suitable ESD footwear component in a Footwear / Flooring System meeting the ANSI/ESD S20.20 required limits < 1 x 10⁹ ohms (footwear) per ESD SP9.2 and ESD TR53 and Footwear / Flooring requirements of < 3.5 x 10⁷ ohms per ANSI/ESD STM97.1 and < 100 volts per ANSI/ESD STM97.2.

Meets the ANSI/ESD S20.20 required limit tested per ESD SP9.2 & ESD TR53 as suitable ESD footwear component in personnel grounding flooring/footwear system

1" wide elastic back strap (2 Sizes- Regular and Large)

Stretches to fit larger shoes such as running shoes or work boots

Snap-Loc fastening system

Adjusts to operator shoe size and flexes during normal walking motion

Tear-resistant rubber material with reinforced inner scrim

Prevents tearing - increasing the service life of foot grounder

Non-marring interior material

Will not leave marks on operator’s shoes

18-inch conductive 8-strand nylon polyester grounding tab

Additional conductive material provides reliable connection with operator’s sweat-layer

UL Listed

Independently reviewed for adequacy of the product’s design

Components

A. 0.060" thick, 1.50" wide, dual layer, a black conductive exterior with a white non-marring interior.

B. 3/8" wide, 30" long blue (07523) or black (07522) polyester tab contains electrically conductive carbon suffused fibers for long life expectancy.

C. 3/4" wide, blue (07523) or black (07522) elastic material stretches for comfort.

D. 1" wide, red elastic backing stretches for comfort and fit.

E. Adjustable snap-loc fastening system.

F. Includes one megohm current limiting resistor.
