The mechanical presses, which come in standard open-close mode and flip-top type, both maintain linear engagement at the final actuation. The compatible design enables quick and simple plate installation and reinstallation for additional UUTs, which are regarded as the most economical options in both standard and bespoke forms. Reusable base components, a one-of-a-kind custom size configuration, height-adjustable features, a clean design, conveniently accessible I/O connections, and other best added and optional features perform best for printed circuit board programming, testing, and debugging.
Higher probe counts without compromising probe spring rates are possible thanks to an open workspace inside the push plate and an actuation design that increases the force input from the operator to the UUT without tiring it out. All mechanical fixture kits have the option of the Z-Axis assembly, which is also part of this kit. A robust construction with a readily replaceable top plate and a full 3/4" of z-axis movement enables precise and reproducible actuation in demanding locations, such as laboratories. The ability to customise fixture plates with supporting probes, sockets, locating pins, push rods, side guides, connections, interface, PCB, interlocks, and other components is another feature available to users.
The aluminium frame construction electrical safety enclosures come standard with the UL rated magnetic interlock safety switch featured on the rear of the enclosure where the chassis ground and interlock connections are terminated with open positions for additional device hook-ups. These configurations are available for instrumentation and mobility purposes.
