Peak output voltage is 2500 volts minimum, peak short circuit current is 500A minimum. A switch is provided for reversal of output polarity. Optional divider network available for oscilloscope connection.
Waveform generated is 2x10/2x10, V_p= 2500V. To perform the test, the front panel voltage meter is set to 2500V and the 5Ω tap is used.
Five output taps are provided, with Z_out=2.5, 5, 8, 10 and 15Ω.
Enclosure is 19 x 3U, rack mountable (not as shown).
Outputs are isolated.
The MegaPulse 2x10s-2.5 ships with cables, graphs of theoretical and actual waveforms, and a Calibration Certificate. One year warranty. Options include relay outputs for PLC control, and two 1000:1 oscilloscope BNC jacks (differential mode only).
(Note: If tests in Issue 1 and 2, Table 4-3, and Issue 3, Table 4-4 are to be conducted as well, the MegaPulse 2x10s-5 should be substituted.)
This tester is configured with two outputs for testing two-wire products in accordance with Table 4-1 Test Condition A and B.
