The MegaPulse 1.2x50-7P waveform is designed to pro vide the pulse needed to conduct the Test described in EN60950, Annex N, Table N.1, Line 2 for Data Processing Equipment. This tester can test for the Australian Deviation, which requires a 7kV peak surge. The waveform is in tolerance with the requirements of IEC 1180 from 1000-7000V at the bulk cap and has an output impedance of 38 ohms. The fr ont panel meter reads the bulk capacitor voltage (not the output voltage) in accordance with the requirements of Annex N. Optionally built with a relay conforming to the req uirements of IEC 60065, Figure 7b. Optionally equipped with a 1000:1 reference BNC for reading peak voltage only. Optionally equipped with TestMinder, allowing compu ter control via USB.

OPTIONS AND OPERATION
Manual operation	Operator connects the provided output and return c ables to the MegaPulse and the DUT. Operator select s waveform polarity, pushes the CHARGE button on the front panel and wa its until the front panel meter indicates test volt age. Operator conducts the test by pushing the TRIGGER button on the fron t panel.
