The Comet SN272C is a temperature probe with 5-meter cable and CINCH connector. It is designed for measuring temperatures of gaseous and liquid substances and is suitable for measuring temperatures of smoke and flue gases in flue fireplaces, stoves, and boilers.

The temperature range of the Pt1000TR050M sensor is -50°C to +400 °C; the temperature range may be exceeded up to a maximum of 450°C for a short period of time (this applies to the active measuring part of the sensor below the spacer ring. Around the lead in cable, the temperature must not exceed 260°C.

The SN272C temperature probe is ingress protection rated IP64 according to the EN 60 529 standard. The sensor is suitable for temperature measurement in chemically non-aggressive environments.
