Cal Test CT3997-0 Probe Body, Black

The CT399x series fused probes enhance user safety when working in high energy CAT III and CAT IV environments. The replaceable fuse provides fast interrupt in fault conditions. The probes feature a 1 MΩ resistor in parallel with the fuse. Although it is recommended to check for a blown fuse before and after the measurement, if the probe is used with a blown fuse, the parallel resistor will provide a 90% accurate measurement thereby avoiding a “zero” instrument reading when there is a hazardous voltage present.
