Digital Surface Resistivity Meter
Botron’s Digital Surface Resistivity Meter can measure the resistance value on object surfaces by putting two parallel electrodes close to an object surface to be measured and determine whether the measured object is a conductor, static material, or insulator. The monitor can also be used to measure the resistance to the ground of an object which is specifically applied to different anti-static fields.
Periodic compliance checks of ESD work surfaces are super important. Monitors only verify the ground plane or path to the ground. The surface itself can wear down, become dirty, or, if you use a low-quality mat - just not hold up. A handheld Surface Meter is great for running monthly or prescriptive compliance verification of your ESD surfaces.
- Digital display - a full-screen backlit LCD display gives an actual visual representation of surface resistance and conductive property as well as the ambient temperature.
- Hold function - a dedicated Hold button lets you keep data on the screen to easily track and record measurements.
- Test voltage - 100V supplies the perfect amount of voltage to accurately measure dissipative surfaces and ESD mats.
- Pressure Applied - A smart design where placing pressure on the button also puts pressure on the surface you are testing.
