Jumbo Fernbach Flask with Baffled Base, 2.8L Capacity, Pack of 6
The Benchmark Scientific F4086 is a pack of 6 individually wrapped jumbo Fernbach flasks made of styrene/butadiene. Each flask has a capacity of 2.8L. The F4086 has a baffled (ribbed) bottom to provide increased oxygenation and mixing efficiency even at lower shaking speeds, and a polypropylene screw cap that is vented with 0.2µm membranes to increase air transmission and enhance cell growth.
The mouth size conforms with the international SBS standard, for quick, secure connection to bioreactor equipment. The flasks are gamma sterilized to SAL 10-6, and they are free of RNase, DNase, pyrogen, endotoxins, and human DNA.
