MPDFM 808 Diesel Fuel Injection Measurement System The Bacharach PDFM 808 Fluid Measurement System with CRT Display measures the fluid delivery of diesel injection pumps. When used with any manufacturer’s injection pump calibration stand, the PDFM 808: - Measures the fluid flow from a single injection pump outlet
- Computes the average fluid delivery from up to eight pump outlets
- Measures the delivery of each pump outlet, in sequence
A CRT mounted on top of the PDFM console displays delivery flow values and related data. This includes error messages, to alert you to incorrect switch settings. At your option, a paper tape printer permanently records fluid delivery values as well as pump speed. Precision equipment is used at the Bacharach factory to fully test: - The accuracy of the PDFM 808’s patented* fluid delivery measurement system
- Operation of the unit’s controls, switches, display and printer
The PDFM 808 is easy to install, operate, and maintain. An entirely new concept in diesel fuel system calibration, it offers increased speed, precision, and productivity to diesel test stand users. Operation Prior to performing a test, and after the pump is mounted, the operator selects the operating mode (SINGLE, AVERAGE, or AUTOSEQUENCE) and sets engine/pump parameters on the PDFM 808 operating console. Fluid delivered by the pump is routed through the PDFM 808 and is accurately measured. The CRT displays pump RPM, average outlet delivery, and total outlet delivery in numeric form. Bar graphs represent the flow from a single outlet, average delivery from all outlets, or sequential delivery from each outlet, depending on the mode selected. Readings are updated on a second-by-second basis. When the printer is on, a complete record of flow test data is produced as the test progresses. Fluid delivery values print as they appear on the CRT display. After completing a test, the operator can repeat the test, switch to another mode and retest, or install another pump and continue testing. *U.S. Patent Number 4141243 |
