Great In-Circuit ESR Meter

I have used several of the cheaper and no-brand knockoff eBay ESR meters and this blows them out of the water in terms of accuracy and ease of use. You don't have to zero it every time you use it, and the tweezer probe makes it easy to test a capacitor one-handed in any situation. I used it to test all of the capacitors in an SMPS and the two capacitors it identified as bad ESR turned out to be leaking on the bottom. Great product, highly recommended. TEquipment sells the real thing too, I've ordered this same product elsewhere and it was DOA.

BK 881 IN CIRCUIT ESR TESTER
This ESR tester is GREAT for finding dried out electrolytics! It is simple to use and works as advertised. About the only downside to this ESR tester is the test lead. I wish the test lead was terminated with alligator clips. Alligator clips would be easier to use with loose electrolytics and some thru hole mounted caps. =D
