Accurate, ergonomic, well designed multimeter. Doesn't clutter the bench space. Doesn't make a hole in your pocket. Was looking for an accurate multimeter without excessive options or outrageous price and finally found one.

big & well built
This is the first high-quality multimeter that I have owned. I wanted something basic, accurate, and reliable. In particular, I did not want capacitance, inductance, or temperature measurements, as I plan to buy separate meters for those at some future date.The meter is large and feels solid. It comes with nice probes/leads. I like that the power button is separate from the mode selector and find the auto poweroff to be reasonably timed. Going from the 3 1/2 digits on my previous meter to 4 1/2 on this one was quite welcome and more noticeable than I would have guessed. My favorite feature is the alarm that sounds when your positive probe is plugged into a current receptacle and the mode selector is set to anything besides current measurement. But the most important thing is that this meter takes good measurements. I said above that I just wanted the basics, and this meter delivers. If that is worth the price to you, go for it.

I miss the auto-range...

I prefer the 390 model, for the extra accuracy this one misses the auto-ranger, capacitance, and temperature measurements.
