The Voltage and Ampere scales have good range and resolution (look it up on the device's datasheet.) This is a great, solid, device for small and large projects that require measurements in mV and uA. The auto power-off feature may get in the way of long periods of measurement, but it is reset by pushing the RANGE button; it comes out of sleep mode by pushing the RANGE button as well. So, not a big deal, but it is something to keep in mind. This is a good battery saving feature. Having three sockets for measuring different parameters is also a plus; this helps visualizing what each multimeter is measuring (I bought a pair of these and I am considering buying some more.) I didn't test the Ohm meter thoroughly, but it has more than an adequate range and resolution. The continuity setting is also responsive and solid. Overall, I would say that this is a great device, of solid construction (except perhaps for its stand which has to be handled with some care to avoid unintentionally breaking it by pushing it too far.) More than precise enough for a lot of applications. The price is right for what you get and the simplicity of its operation makes it worth it and deserves the label of "a great instrument." I would not recommend using this outdoors since it seems more adequately built to be used in a lab, or the floor of a factory.
