The BK Precision 1505 DC Power Supply has an output voltage control knob and can provide current up to 500 mA. It also has a current limiter that protects the circuitry and the output b automatically returns to normal after an overload (no fuse is needed).

BK 1505 Regulated DC Power Supply

Works as advertised. Is very easy to use and very reliable. I have been using one for many years now with no problems. There are no fans, no noise, so if all you need is a steady DC voltage and limited current, then this device works well. Bear in mind that it has no voltage or current gauges built in, so if you need to know the DC output you will have to measure that some other way. In my case, I only needed to know that it did not exceed 20V, and so no power measurement was necessary.

Great power supply
I use this with my breadboard for designing musical equipment. It's a great power supply for my purposes - dependable, steady power, and also very inexpensive.
