Autonics Corporation was founded in 1977. Throughout the years since that time, Autonics has been able to build a product catalog filled with more than 6,000 products including sensors, controllers, counters, timers, recorders, transmitters, and many more. In addition, the company has expanded globally to more than 110 countries. These include the USA, Brazil, India, Turkey, Russia, Mexico, Japan, and more. Autonics is ISO 9001 certified. Today the company employs over 1,000 people. Autonics directly manufactures, with no outsourcing, automation components bringing over 6000 items in 60+ categories to market.
In 2012 Autonics received the Gold Tower Industrial Award, the highest honor given by the South Korean government to businesses which have contributed to the development of industry and the economy. The company also completed construction of a new corporate headquarters in Busan, South Korea in fall 2014.
