The patented SC6540 modular scanning matrix pioneered the largest productivity improvement in the electrical safety compliance industry in years. With up to 16 independent high voltage or high current channels in a convenient 2U design, the SC6540 can be customized in 10 different configurations for multi-point Hipot, Ground Bond, Insulation Resistance, and Line Leakage testing. Configure the SC6540 according to your needs, and interface with your OMNIA II, HypotULTRA, or LINECHEK instrument to improve production line throughput or expand lab testing capability. Operate from the front panel of your AR instrument or utilize a variety of automation interfaces for direct PC control.
The SC6540 is available in many different configurations. The following is an overview of possible part numbers:
The AC Hipot Test allows you to stress your product's insulation with high voltage to ensure it will limit current flow should a fault occur.
The DC Hipot Test allows you to stress your product's insulation and limit leakage current output by running a DC dielectric withstand test.
