About

Armasight manufactures primarily tactical night vision and thermal imaging systems for military operators as well as commercial or casual hunters and outdoorsmen. Armasight thermal imaging products include thermal imaging monoculars, binoculars, various weapon sights, clip-on thermal weapon sights, and related accessories.

The Armasight Prometheus is a thermal imaging monocular available with a range of specifications for different applications. These monoculars are available in 640x512 and 336x256 pixel resolutions with adjustable digital zoom up to 8x and a 3-year warranty. Armasight has included numerous proprietary technologies with the Prometheus to enhance its thermal capabilities. These include Active Contrast Enhancement™, Second Generation Digital Detail Enhancement™, Smart Scene Optimization™, Automatic Gain Control, and Silent Shutterless Non-uniformity Correction™.

The Armasight Predator and Zeus are thermal weapon sights, also available in 640x512 and 336x256 pixel resolutions. These scopes, as well as the thermal monoculars, feature solid state uncooled thermal sensors from FLIR, which all come with a 10-year warranty. These scopes are designed to be used with MIL-STD-1913/Weaver/Picatinny rail systems. Each comes equipped with a quick release mechanism compatible with these systems. Reticules can be changed or turned off completely via intuitive controls, and colors can be changed to suit the application.

Armasight also offers a range of night vision scopes, monoculars, and binoculars. The company is proud to offer cutting edge Digital Night Vision in these product areas. Digital Night Vision is a relatively new technology which allows users to see in near total darkness. Unlike other night vision products however, digital night vision can be used during daytime hours without damage to the night vision detector. Some units also offer recording capabilities. Higher end digital night vision products are comparable to Gen 2 NVD while lower end systems compare to Gen 1.
