Works Great for Certain uses but not for others

We use it to measure Impedance Value on batteries off line. The product works as expected for that purpose. It doesn't seem to work unless the batter is shut-off, although the manual says it would. It seems like a known problem with no solution. For that reason, so I wouldn't recommend it for field use.
