Amprobe AT-2005 is a circuit tracer and cable locator of unenergized and open (broken) wires. Performs tests without having to interrupt power. This circuit tracer locates electrical breakers, neutral and ground lines, etc.
Amprobe AT-2005 circuit tracer has all features of models AT-2001 and AT-2002, plus clamp-on attachment to inject signal without making a contact with bare wire, and Battery Booster to strengthen signal for open tracing.

Good tracer for the money.

This is a good tracing set for the money. The only drawback is tracing underground wires. Because the receiver is handheld, you have to walk around bent-over to trace the wires underground. Other than that, the unit works great.
