- Requires a PC to operate - utilizes stageVIEW software for data acquisition and reporting
The eATVS Automatic Temperature and Velocity Scanner is a portable 4- or 8-channel hot wire anemometer system. The fully automated, research quality scanner takes accurate single or multi-point measurements of air temperature, velocity and surface temperature in complex environments including PCB’s and electronics enclosures. When used as a temperature logger, it can measure both fluid and solid temperatures. Please note, sensors are sold separately.
The eATVS can be used in rackmount or desktop configurations and employs patented, fast response, omni-directional sensors which measure both temperature and velocity. This patented single-sensor technology eliminates errors introduced as a result of air flow being non-isothermal. Each precisely calibrated sensor is flexible and robust with a low-profile configuration that allows minimally intrusive mounting throughout the peaks and valleys created by the PCB components. The system requires a PC to operate and utilizes the stageVIEW software for data acquisition and reporting.
Key Features
Single sensor technology: Measure both temperature and air velocity with a single sensor
Accuracy and ease of use: Research quality results with the ease of use of a hand-held meter
High and low speed calibration: Sensors are calibrated for both low (natural convection) and high velocity flows from 0 to 51 m/s (10,000 ft/min)
stageVIEW software: For automated data acquisition, reporting and special thermal analysis module for quick evaluation of component temperature
