Accuris PR4010-500 - SmartCheck 100bp DNA Ladder, 5 x 500ul / 500 lanes
Accuris SmartCheck DNA Ladders are produced from proprietary plasmids, digested to completion, and purified in a multi-step chromatography process. Ladders are supplied in a ready-to-use format that includes a loading buffer and tracking dyes.
The ladders are supplied at a concentration of 0.1mg/ml, in a buffer consisting of 10mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), 5mM EDTA, 12.5% glycerol, 0.008% bromophenol blue, 0.008% xylene cyanol.
Storage
This product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, immediately store at -20ºC. Ladders can be stored for up to 15 months at -20ºC or at 4ºC for up to 6 months.
Quality Control
The ladders are purified by a multistep chromatography method. Band sharpness is verified by agarose electrophoresis and DNA concentration is verified spectrophotometrically.
General Guidelines
SmartCheck DNA ladders are supplied ready-to-use. Briefly vortex the tube and add 5µl to the desired well in the gel. If the ladders are frozen, allow time to thaw and mix thoroughly.
The SmartCheck Ladders can be used to approximate the mass of DNA in samples of similar size by comparing the intensity of the sample band to that of the ladder. The masses of each DNA band per 5µl load are given on the back side of this insert.
