AFL OTDR
AFL offers a large number of OTDR models, designed to cover a variety of applications. Units are available with and without light sources/power meters, and are also offered in packages with several additional products. For users working in secured government facilities, non-wireless models are also available.
The following is a brief overview of available models and the wavelengths each are designed to work with.
FS300
The FS300 is offered with options for a light source / power meter, as well as wireless connectivity. In addition, this OTDR is sold in five package types – Basic, Plus, Pro, BI and BIPM.
- BASIC Kit: Includes selected FlexScan, wrist strap, soft carry case, Quick Reference Guide plus TRM 3.0 Basic Test Results Manager software. Soft case includes room for optional accessories such as connector cleaning supplies, fiber ring (launch cable) or FOCIS Flex connector inspection solution
- PLUS Kit: Adds a One-click cleaner, 150 m fiber ring (launch cable) plus TRM 3.0 Advanced to a FlexScan Basic Kit
- PRO Kit: Adds an auto-focusing FOCIS Flex Fiber Optic Connector Inspection System and user-selected adapter tips to Plus Kit
- BI Complete Kit: Adds OFI-BI Bend-insensitive Optical Fiber Identifier to PRO Kit
- BIPM Complete Kit: Adds OFI-BIPM Bend-insensitive Optical Fiber Identifier with Power Meter to PRO Kit

FS200
There are five versions of the FS200, each designed to cover a different set of wavelengths.
- FS200-50 - 1550 nm only Troubleshooting OTDR
- FS200-60 - 1650 nm filtered Live PON Troubleshooting OTDR
- FS200-100 - 1310/1550 nm Verification & Troubleshooting OTDR
- FS200-300 - 1310/1550 Pt-to-Pt & PON Verification & Troubleshooting OTDR
- FS200-304 - 1310/1550/1650 Pt-to-Pt & PON Verification & Troubleshooting OTDR
