The Model 5217 is a portable hand-held multimeter that measures a variety of electrical and physical quantities including voltage (AC and DC), resistance, capacitance, frequency, and temperature. These instruments can also perform continuity checks, voltage detection, and diode testing (including forwarding bias voltage). Measurement features include Auto Range mode, which enables the instrument to select the best range for the input detected, and a Data HOLD function. These instruments are rugged and simple to use and rated to 600V CAT III. Applications
Measurements:
An ideal addition to the electrician’s tool kit, the Digital FlexProbe ® models can be used for TRMS AC current measurements and are rated at 600V CAT IV. They provide a welcomed solution when accessing electrical conductors is difficult in tight places. Three models are available: The Model 400D, available with either a 6" or 10" sensor, has a measurement range starting at 20mA and is designed for work in residential, commercial, and light industrial applications. It can be used to check electrical distribution systems up to 400 Amps. The Model 4000D, available with a 14" sensor, has a measurement range starting at 100mA and can be used on higher-power industrial installations, as well as electrical utilities for measurements up to 4000 Amps. Although they are high-performance instruments, the Digital FlexProbe ® models remain very simple to use: two buttons are all it takes to start the instrument, deactivate the auto power-off, HOLD the value on the display or store the maximum value (MAX HOLD). The values are read directly on the built-in 4000-count display. They are ergonomically designed for comfortable handheld use even when bulky gloves are required. The optional articulating, magnetic Multifix mounting system accessory makes it simple to hang on a wall, door, table edge or clip onto a belt.
The Voltage Tester Model NC-1 provides quick and easy AC Voltage tests. Measures AC voltage from 100 to 240VAC. Measures DC Voltage up to 250VDC. The tester is used in various applications using both contact and non-contact methods. The LED light indicates normal operation. The battery provides approximately 5 hours of continuous operation.
The AC Line Splitter Model ALS-1 increases the sensitivity of clamp-on current probes and clamp-on meters. Avoiding splitting lines makes reading current easily. The Model ALS-1 provides temporary separation of conductors to facilitate the measurement of current. Simply plug the Model ALS-1 into a connector for a safe measurement. Direct readings are available. Two clamp positions: X1 for direct readings; X10 for actual reading multiplied by 10. Also features a voltage check function.
The Model 6527 is a portable multi-range megohmmeter capable of measuring insulation resistance from 1kΩ to 4000MΩ. It has three user-selectable test voltages of 250V, 500V, and 1000V. The Model 6527 is also a multimeter that features an AC/DC voltmeter function capable of measuring up to 600VAC and 1000VDC, a continuity test function with an audible beeper for resistances under 35Ω, and overload protection of 600Vrms. In addition, it can measure resistance up to 400kΩ. The TEST button has an associated locking feature for continuous tests up to 15 minutes, eliminating the need to manually hold down the button. This lightweight, easy-to-use megohmmeter can be used for most commonly performed insulation tests, such as on cables, switch gears, motors, DC generators, power tools a and small appliances.
