3D MakerJet is committed to the development, production and sales of plastic, medical, culinary, and powderless metal 3D printers for the consumer, professional and small business markets. Also known as additive manufacturing, 3D printing is already a multibillion dollar industry which is expected to grow exponentially throughout this century. 3D MakerJet currently offers four sizes of 3D printer ranging in height from 15 inches up to 32 inches. Currently, ABS and PLA printing filaments are available in a variety of colors including red, green, black, yellow, orange, and white. Spare printer beds and nozzles are also available.
3D MakerJet's main R&D partner, ZBOT, was founded in 2000 and has been experimenting with 3D printer designs ever since. ZBOT actually won the CDA National Design Award for the 3D printer upon which the entire 3D MakerJet line is based. To this day, the ZBOT/3D MakerJet 3D printer is the only 3D printer to have won the CDA award at the civilian level. 3D MakerJet is poised to become a leader in the exciting new industry of 3D printing. The company is already finishing preliminary manufacturing and quality control for new products like a human-sized scanner, a candy printer which cools materials instead of heating them, and a prototype powderless metal 3D printer.
